Attachment in Practice
for budding therapists
(including 1st & 2nd year Master's students and early career therapists)

Therapy is a relational process in which practitioners engage in forming, exploring and navigating a relationship with the client. At the same time, therapists also attempt to understand the early experiences of the client to recognize the influence of their childhood on their adult patterns. Our everyday experiences mirror the moments we have lived in the past. A therapist helps the client acknowledge that healing lies in the present as we work through the past.

"Attachment based Trauma informed approach" has foundations in relational work which posits that clients' traumatic experiences are rooted in traumatic relationship dynamics. Hence, training in "Attachment focused therapy" involves acknowledging the impact of healthy and safe relationships in
clients' healing journey.

At Here Hear Therapy, our therapists are formally trained in Trauma Informed Work and apply the principles of Attachment to empower their clients.
With a mission to empower more budding practitioners with the foundational concepts of attachment work, we're conducting this
6 hour exploratory course.
